Strategic Planning

The Dewey Impact Group can help you articulate a high-level vision for the future and a detailed plan for how to get there, whether it encompasses the whole organization or a particular area. We will lead your board, staff, and other stakeholders in a focused exploration of the organization's strengths, opportunities, and areas of growth, delivering a roadmap for how to achieve your objectives in an appropriate time frame. DIG will work closely and collaboratively with you to design and lead this process, making sure that your questions, concerns, and definitions of success take priority. Deliverables will include:

Dialogue and Conversation: DIG will scaffold a series of interactions with your team, including one-on-one planning sessions, small and large group conversations, and facilitated workshops to ensure the process is comprehensive, all stakeholders’ voices are included, and the final product has community-wide investment.

Community and Stakeholder Analysis: Using surveys and interviews, DIG will compile and analyze how your community perceives and experiences your organization as a tool for informing areas of strength and growth.

Written Plan: Included in its work, DIG will prepare a comprehensive and user-friendly document that includes a history of key accomplishments, an environmental analysis, organizational values and priorities, specific goals, strategies to achieve them, a timeline of actions, and a financial model detailing the plan’s impact on expense and revenue over time.

Case Development: DIG will develop a case for the organization's strategic vision and an executive summary of the plan that can be appropriately packaged for sharing with partners and funders.
