Annual Fundraising

We will work with your organization and key team members to analyze your development department efforts, make recommendations for growth, and provide hands-on mentorship and support of staff members to achieve goals.

Core deliverables:

  1. Analysis Report: Written evaluation and assessment of the department’s efforts with key recommendations.

  2. Development Plan: A comprehensive, written annual roadmap for all areas of fundraising, with specific, measurable goals, strategies, and calendared actions. 

  3. Communications Plan: A comprehensive, written annual calendar of communications and content that complements and supports the fundraising plan.

  4. Assessment Report: A report based on the goals included in the development plan analyzing the department’s metrics and providing explanations of key considerations and context that influenced the plan. The report also serves as a template for the team going forward.

Campaign Planning

The DIG team will work with you to create a case for your campaign, identify and tier prospects, develop a timeline and strategy for campaign events and solicitation, and provide hands-on support to your key solicitors to help them stay on task. Deliverables may include:

  • Campaign Case Development: A statement describing the need and vision for your campaign in a compelling and concise way that highlights opportunities for participation and donor benefits (as applicable).

  • Prospect Analysis:  Prospect profiles and giving pyramids illustrating prospect levels and likelihood along with several achievable pathways to goal.

  • Timeline and Strategy: A schedule of campaign events and a solicitation roadmap that gives solicitors an approach to their prospects, customized talking points, and follow up cues.

  • Collateral Materials: Agendas for committee meetings, letter and email templates for prospect outreach, and regular updates on the campaign status.

Assessment Report: A report based on the achievement of the campaign goal, including an explanation of key considerations and context that influenced the campaign journey, and a discussion of how well the various campaign elements worked to serve as a guide for future campaigns.
