Introducing your partners in impact
“Paying attention to detail is essential to good fundraising, but so is stepping back and taking in the view – especially remembering what you love about your work. Drawing on 20+ years of development experience, I will be your partner in raising money and solving problems in service of the good your organization is doing in the world.”
Catherine LeClair
Catherine brings 20 years of fundraising experience to Dewey Impact Group, raising millions of dollars for New York City institutions as well as arts and education nonprofits from St. Paul to St. Louis. Her career includes a range of leadership positions at institutions such as the Young People’s Chorus of New York City and New York City Ballet.
As a young adult, Catherine trained as a ballet dancer and learned that artistic achievement is built on a foundation of perseverance and technique. This is the same approach she brings to fundraising where she believes the art of the ask is based on meticulous planning and long-term stewardship.
Catherine takes a staff-centered approach and is an ally to her client organizations by building relationships with executive, programming, and fundraising personnel who are on the advance guard of making non-profit missions a reality. She dives into new work with dedication, curiosity, and a roll-up-her-sleeves attitude. Through training, planning, and resource development, day-to-day work becomes easier and organizations can act on new opportunities.
Catherine graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College.
